CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

At Meadow Grove, our children’s ministry is MAKING A DIFFERENCE!  We have so many dedicated men and women at Meadow Grove who want to see your child make a difference for Jesus that it’s hard to count!  Our children’s ministry teachers are well prepared, fun, love Jesus and want to teach your child to do the same.  All of our classes are age-graded so that children can learn with others on their level.  Our classrooms are outfitted with the latest technology and new furnishings as well. We value you children at Meadow Grove and want to make sure that everything we do points them to growing in their relationship with Jesus.

 

We offer many opportunities for your child to make a difference, even though they are young. There are many ways to get involved in the Children’s Ministry at Meadow Grove. We offer Sunday school for all ages at 8:50 and 10:15 on Sunday mornings.  On Sunday evenings, our children are hiding God’s Word in their hearts in Bible Buddies and Bible Drills, and they do a FANTASTIC job! Children in Kindergarten-5th also offer praises to God through song, instruments, dance and even in the dark with black lights in choir on Sunday nights at 4:00. They are TALENTED!

 

Our 5th and 6th graders have a program called AREA 56 that is tailored just for them during this time.  In AREA 56, your child will study the Bible, talk about life, work on mission projects, do a little singing, act a little crazy, learn through drama and maybe eat some chocolate chip cookies from time to time.  You never know what our leaders are going to come up with, but it will be Biblically centered and lots of fun for sure!  Wednesday nights is all about missions! Our children come together for missions organizations at 6:00 p.m. to learn the importance of sharing God’s love around the world in a practical way.  Through the many activities they do, our children learn the importance of sharing God’s love and have can be FUN in the process!

 

Other events happen in our children’s ministry through out the year as well such as Vacation Bible School, summer activities, kids night out, missions projects, lunch at schools, camps and many more.  At Meadow Grove, our goal is to teach your child to love Jesus and treasure His Word and love in their heart so that they can tell others and MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  We purposefully plan all of our events with that goal in mind.
