I began serving at Meadow Grove Baptist as Children’s Minister in September, 2012. I am also in charge of our church security team. Here at Meadow Grove security and children’s ministry go hand in hand.

Since accepting Christ in 1992 as a teenager, God has placed a desire in my heart to lead children and their families to a saving relationship with Jesus and partner with them along their journey. I owe God the praise for everything in my life because without Him I am nothing. One of my biggest praises is the woman He made just for me, my wife Leah. She is an incredible woman of God, wife, mother, and partner in ministry. Leah and I 

 

 

have two children. Owen (9) and Macy (6)keep us busy, thankful, and constantly laughing! My ministry here at Meadow Grove would not be the same without them…they help keep me straight at church because they know where everything is even when I don’t!

God called me into a lifetime of love and service through ministry to Him in 2003, and He continues to strengthen my passion for ministering to his children with every passing day.

 

Prior to joining Meadow Grove, I served as Minister to Young Families at Main Street Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, MS. I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi (2002) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2007). My wife Leah is a graduate of Mississippi College (2001) and a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (2004) as well.

 

I love telling others about Jesus and teaching them how to be fully devoted followers. I also enjoy spending time with my family, jogging, trying new foods, reading, watching a good movie, and traveling. I’m always in the mood for a good laugh or a good cup of coffee!
